Foxel

On a planet in a distant galaxy lives the rare foxel, half fox, half owl.  The Foxel is active at night, it has a hooked upper beak for tearing meat. It is also known for its large bushy tail, which is often tipped with white and is used for balance. It is a solitary animal that feeds on rodents, rabbits, birds, and other small game. If Foxels have to they will eat fruit and vegetables, fish, frogs, and even worms. Their habitat is as flexible as their diets, they include grasslands, mountains, forest and even deserts.
